Job Summary: The Tech Services Representative (TSR I) delivers tier one telephone help desk support as the first point of contact for Talus Payments' merchant customer base. The TSR I will field all general questions from merchants, provide technical support troubleshooting, as well as notate call tickets and follow-up on client requests as required. Essential Job Functions: ? Performs customer service functions by communicating directly with merchants in a professional manner at all times. ? Must be a self-starter, exercise follow-through and demonstrate professional initiative on any matters that come across the desk whether they are inside or outside the normal scope of the role. ? Must be computer savvy and able to navigate various computer platforms and sites with a keen attention to detail. ? Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic and fast-paced environment as well as be able to work independently in a professional manner. ? This position requires heavy phone and computer usage daily. ? Must adhere to the company policies, including attendance, dress code, and code of conduct. ? Must be able to pass the Tech Services Representative I knowledge test. ? Must be a team player and open to be a contributing member of the team whether it is supporting Tech Services, Client Services, Account Management or any other department within the Talus Payments family. ? Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements: Call Center experience 1 year of entry level business experience preferred Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal skills, including the ability to perform technical troubleshooting Bi-Lingual (Spanish) highly desirable Schedule is Tuesday through Friday 11:30 am - 8:00 pm and Saturday from 9:30 am - 6:00 pm. Must be available to rotate into schedule as needed for Saturday coverage Must be available to rotate into afterhours schedule (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)* Must be able to work a ticket queue and incoming emails in scheduled shift work Must be available for holidays (after hours or at corporate office) as needed * After hours schedule coverage is supplemented with after hours compensation
