Job Summary: The Account Retention Representative (ARR) will work closely with all internal teams and management with focus on how to increase client retention with new and existing client base and partners. The ARR will also be responsible for delivering proactive outbound calls - programs and retention efforts including account management client support, by creating processing presentations to facilitate to our top tier clients. The ARR will also field all questions from merchants related to rate and term negotiations, product functionality and up sells, account renewals discussion and proactive cancellation procedures when required. In addition to phone support, the ARR will also notate call tickets and follow-up on client requests as required. Essential Job Functions Include: Conduct outbound and inbound call campaigns to renew and extend merchant processing relationships with existing merchants to support performance statistics targeted by the company's annual goals. Performs account retention and services sales functions by communicating directly with merchants in a professional manner. Strong computer skills necessary including Microsoft Suite: Excel, Word and PowerPoint, facilitate and host Go To Meeting webinars with the demonstrated ability to navigate various computer platforms and sites with a keen attention to detail and professionalism. Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic and fast-paced environment as well as be able to work independently in a professional manner. Complete rate reviews, file supporting documents, negotiate price and terms with clients to extend processing commitments. Must be a self-starter, exercise follow-through and demonstrate professional initiative on any matters that come across the desk whether they are inside or outside the normal scope of the role. Must be a team player and open to be a contributing member of the team whether it is supporting Account Management or any other department within the Future Payment Technologies family. Must adhere to the company policies and procedures including attendance, dress code and code of conduct. Must possess the ability to build professional relationships over the phone or in person. Performs all other duties as assigned. Minimum requirements: 1-3 years Call Center experience 5+ years of merchant processing experience including Account Management or Relationship Management experience required. Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal skills, including the ability to understand Card Brand Interchange structure, best practices as well as be well informed on latest industry and PCI news.
