Full time positions: $9.50/hr Week1 - Monday-Friday 8am-5pmWeek2 - Monday-Saturday8am-5pm (off Wednesday)Week3 - Monday-Friday 8am-5pmWeek4- Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (off Wednesday & work Friday 8am-12midnight) Part time positions: $9/hr Monday-Thursday 6:00pm-11:00pm &Sun-7:00am-3:30pm Summary: Keeps premises of office building or other commercial or institutional building in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties. If in a Lead capacity, the incumbent also ensures the route is followed according to the direction of the Account Manager/Account Supervisor, performs quality inspections, and may recommend disciplinary actions to the Account Manager/Account Supervisor. Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned. Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim. Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas. Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor. Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies. Dusts furniture and equipment. Polishes metalwork. Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork. Washes windows, door panels, and sills. Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays. Transports trash and waste to disposal area. Replenishes bathroom supplies. Transports small equipment or tools between departments. Sets up tables and chairs in auditorium or hall. Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Ability: Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
