Great opportunity for growth Job Summary GCATS Telecom & Critical Power Services is a turn key electrical, telecommunications, and critical power company that specializes in providing creative and unique solution to it's customers Desiring an electrical apprentice with entry level to level 4 experience. Hourly rate is based on licensing and actual in field experience Responsibilities and Duties: Help with job projects, assist and take direction from Journeyman Electricians on job sites. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:Responsible for assembly, installation, maintenance and testing of electrical equipment and wiring systems in commercial and industrial setting.Prepares work area for installation of equipment.Installs or helps install electrical components.Connects wiring and equipment as per code and job specification. Qualifications and Skills:Applicant must have or acquire a state of Texas apprentice license prior to starting work.High School transcript + Diploma and/or GED scoresEvidence of previous electrical experience (if any)Must have reliable transportation.Must have good mechanical aptitude.Must have a good attitude and a willingness to learn.Be in good physical condition and able to lift 50lbs or more, stoop and bend over repeatedly, climb ladders, scaffolds etc.Must complete a four hour safety orientation prior to starting work.Candidates who are bilingual are a plus but not required.
