Southside on Lamar

  Now seriously, this is what I call summer livin’. A good friend of mine has asked me to watch her cats and apartment, here’s the kicker- her place of residence: Luxurious Living at the Southside on Lamar Lofts. My response: DON’T GOTTA ASK ME TWICE GIRL! Side Note: My own apartment is an old house built in the 1920’s and has been poorly renovated into 4 different apartment units. We have 2 window a/c units in a 900 sq. ft apartment, windows that don’t open, no dishwasher, a tiny television, a teeny-tiny bathroom, roaches, spiders…I could go on forever.  Not only do I love living in someone else’s place for a short but sweet time, but I almost consider it a mini-vacay. NBA Finals- Dallas Mavericks are the Champions

The Dallas Mavericks sure did heat up the city last night ;) It took me a chaotic 45 minutes to get down half a mile of greenville last night. The championships after-math was definitley evident if you saw what was going on in downtown Dallas.  I live one block west of greenville, and as soon as I turned onto Henderson I could hear the crowd,  I knew exactly where to go to find some picture worthy fans. If you aren't familar with the Dallas night life, the most popular bars are on Greenville- just north of downtown. Higher end bars and restaurants are west of the Central expressway, aka- Uptown/Westend. BUT the lower greenville area has a crowd that is evidently EAST DALLAS. They get pretty rowdy, and I love it.
