Actually, I think I just insulted my dog by comparing Snooki to her. I do not watch Jersey Shore. Unfortunately, I do know of it. Much to my disgust, I was listening to the radio this morning, and they were talking about Jersey Shore and playing clips from the season premiere. I could feel my brain melting. I truly wonder what is wrong with our society to even have such shows as “Jersy Shore,” much less to make them popular. Admittedly, I am guilty of being a viewer of some reality shows. However, I am proud to say that I do not have cable in my  home, have not had it in, maybe, three or four years. When I do watch “reality” television, I tend to watch shows such as “Clean House,”  ...

I hesitate to write this. This previous Sunday, July 24, something happened to me that I never thought would happen to me. Or, rather, I hoped would never happen. I was arrested. For those of you that know me, I suggest taking a minute to allow that to sink in. … Quite a while back ago my mother and I were going through a very hard time. In fact, we are still in recovery mode. I had a vehicle that could not pass the safety inspection. I could not afford the repairs. Lo-and-behold I got a few tickets. Today is a very exciting day for me. I'm currently in a state full of eagerness. Eagerly waiting, that is. A few days ago I made a big step for myself. I placed my first order of clothing for my business. My shipment is supposed to arrive today!  The clothes I ordered are gorgeous. I even have a couple of clients already! I'm so excited, I can't even talk about it. Secondly, I am awaiting test results. I hope I failed. Believe it or not, this is a good thing. Actually, I'm not too worried that I'll pass this test. ...10 points if you know where I got my title from. Ever see something and wonder, "Why?" Or do you ever see something minute, something that makes no sense, but it makes you happy? I have those moments quite often. So, for the fun of it, I have snapped some less-than-stellar photos with my phone to share with the world the moments that in the end usually make me say, "Huh?" It's official - I'm a pro! :D A photograph of mine was purchased and hangs in the RLC library. Believe it or not, this is only the 2nd time I've gone to see it in the year it's hung there. When I sat down and evaluated where I want to be in my life and want I want of it, I made a list of goals. By no means is it an extensive or complete list, but it's a good jumping off point. One of those goals was to get a new job, preferably full-time. Well, I got a new job. It's not full-time. However, I'm loving it thus far. I work at the Welcome Desk of the fitness area of a particularly busy community center. I've gotten to meet all sorts of people. One of my co-workers is a 21 year-old musician. Another is 18 and six months pregnant. She has the same name as another girl we work with. They've been friends for about nine years. Maybe they bonded over having the same name? I also have a really awesome boss. A great boss always makes a job better. I've had too many jobs with horrible...
