It's October, and that means it's time for "Ducktober Fest."
The Richland community was invited to this free fun new event, which was born last year when the German Student Government Association President, Lovis Kauf, and Vice President Sally Holmes, suggested it. It's patterned after the original German Octoberfest.
The event took place last Thursday outside the student lounge by the campus lake. Everyone received free Bratwurst, hotlinks, snow cones and cotton candy.
The games included a challenging mechanical bull, a bungee run, obstacle course and a wrecking ball. The event is sponsored by the Office of Student Life.
