"Bulletstorm" is one of the most anticipated games since its first peek at E3 2010. It enticed the fans with its new style of a first-person shooter with its skillshots gameplay. If you don't already know what the skillshot is, it's a point reward system to have you kill an enemy the most creative and deranged way possible.

The plot of "Bulletstorm" is the typical story line of character Grayson Hunt being the badass, narcissistic, sarcastic douche bag known to mankind. Ishi Sato, his smart sidekick with a short-fused temper, has become a cyborg along with him. In this game I am glad to see that they have involved a female character, a fire-brand "biatch" who can kick anyone's ass out there. Going back to the plot, Grayson and Ishi are bounty hunters who have been betrayed by General Sarrano and find out they were working on the wrong side. So Grayson wants to take revenge on Sarrano and end up on a horrific abandoned planet infested with flesh-eating gangs. The main goal really in this game is to get as many skillshots as you can while trying to escape the hell hole that you are in.

My honest thoughts on this game?  Unfortunatley, I was a little disappointed, . I really hate to tell y'all that, but it's true. I really wanted this game to be truly amazing, but it was short of it, even though they promoted it to be this crazy and amazing game that hasn't come along in a long time.

"Bulletstorm" is entertaining overall but can get a little boring at times. It's repetitive and the dialogue can get really corny sometimes. It's mainly sarcasm and a lot of comedy, which was good for the most part.

The skillshots are the best part of the game. But that's it, nothing more, which made the game a little disappointing to me. "Bulletstorm," which was fast-tracked, has a story line that's difficult to follow at times..

However, the game looks beautiful. The dam scene, especially, was absolutely gorgeous. The world is extremely big like how "God of War 3" was made. My favorite thing on this game, though, are the guns, which are huge. They each have their own style and are able to kill them in many different ways.

This is the type of game that you would probably play once or twice all the way through and then be done with it. I'm so sad to say that, but it is what it is. I would just rent "Bulletstorm" because it is fun to play and it's different from most games that are first-person shooters.

So if you want to get out of that routine of playing the same games, then go rent this one to change it up. I wouldn't recommend buying it.
